It is not a secret that I love to vacation but for me cruising has been one of my many favorite things to do. One of the reasons is you get to see so much more in one trip then just one place. Our last cruise took us to Greece!! It was a total first going overseas for both of us. We decided the best thing to do was go over a day prior and stay an extra day after the cruise. We started in Athens and for the first day just wandered around our hotel tried not to sleep so we could keep up with the time difference. The next day we headed to the ship to start our 7 day adventure. We didn't book a bunch of excursions only 2 and then on the other stops with no excursion scheduled we explored as much as we could on our own. Greece was one of the most fabulous places we have seen. The history we experienced was truly a trip of a lifetime. Once back in Athens since we had an extra day we did the Hop on Hop off bus and explore so much more of the city. I wouldn't change a thing about the trip and already planning the next one.
